Ashley Judd and Patrick Wilson will have the lead roles in the Adriana Trigiani film "Big Stone Gap."

The movie adaptation of Adriana Trigiani's "Big Stone Gap" now has its Ave Maria and Jack.

Trigiani made the announcement Friday of the lead actor and actress for her feature film that begins shooting next week in Big Stone Gap in Wise County.

Kentucky native Ashley Judd and Patrick Wilson, whose grandparents resided in Big Stone, were the two selections posted on Trigiani's official Facebook and Twitter accounts Friday afternoon.

Trigiani, a Big Stone Gap native, announced last month that the production was receiving almost $1 million in state incentives, including a $300,000 grant from the Virginia Tobacco commission.

Judd, 45, who will portray Ave Marie Mulligan has starred in such features as "Kiss the Girls," "Double Jeopardy," "Where the Heart Is," and this year's "Olympus Has Fallen."

Wilson will play Jack McChesney. He recently starred in the horror-thriller "Insidious 2," which debuted at number one at the U.S. box office last month. Other features with Wilson include "Watchmen," "The A-Team," and a comedy premiering next year called "Stretch" that co-stars Chris Pine and Jessica Alba.
