Anthony Allen Leonard, 58, of Bristol, Va., passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, March 22, 2020. Tony suffered a massive heart attack while mowing his yard. He graduated from Sullivan Central High School in 1980 and obtained a BA in Music Theory from UT Chattanooga. He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Allen and Pauline Hartley; paternal grandparents, Charles and Charmie Leonard; his brother, David Lyndon Leonard; and his sister, Tracey Sue Leonard. He is survived by his parents, Lyndon and Sandy Leonard of Bristol, Tenn.; and sister, Leigh Ann Agee and her husband, Chris Coote, of Blountville, Tenn. He worked at CITI in Gray, Tenn. for 26 years and presently at Office Depot in Bristol VA. Due to the coronavirus, the services will be restricted to family only and held at Weaver Funeral home in Bristol, Tenn. Tony will be cremated. A private memorial service for family only will be held 11 a.m. Saturday, March 28, 2020, in the Weaver Funeral Home Chapel with Dr. Stan Anderson officiating. Jean Goforth, age 80, passed away at her residence Tuesday, March 24, 2020 after a long illness. She was born in Bristol, TN, and was a daughter of the late Thomas and Violet Parks. She was preceded in death by her sister, Betty Sue Hendershot; brothers, Gary, Roger and Tommy Parks all of Bristol, TN; and granddaughter, Heather Kerns of Blountville, TN. Survivors include her husband of 62 years, Bobby K. Goforth; sons, Kenneth and wife Paige, Jeff and wife Charmane all of Kingsport, TN; daughter, Kimberly Boesinger and husband Dean of Tampa, Fla.; grandsons, Dustin Goforth and wife Tiffany, Kristopher and Hunter Goforth of Knoxville, TN, Michael Goforth of Kingsport, TN; granddaughters, Whitney Castle and husband Brian, and Kennedy Goforth of Kingsport, TN; four great grandchildren, Mackenzie Cross and Heath Kerns of Blountville, TN, Briggs and Anders Goforth of Bristol, and Kirra Castle of Kingsport, TN; brother, Ronnie Parks and wife Lisa. Anna was born in Smyth County, to the late June and Mattie Little and was preceded in death by her two sons, Joe Church and Emmitt Little and a granddaughter, Tonya Smith. Geraldine was preceded in death by her husband, James E. Crusenberry; her parents, Gerald S. Wolfe and Beulah H. Wolfe; aunt, Belle Hawthorne; and daughter-in-law, Terry L. Smith.
