Ann "Mae Mae" Hartsock McCroskey, age 74, of Bristol, Tenn., went to be with the Lord on Saturday, June 27, 2020, at Bristol Regional Medical Center. She was born on May 29, 1946, in Bristol, Tenn., a daughter of the late James Franklin and Annie Belle Vance Hartsock. Ann was a charter member of Parkway Baptist Worship Center. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a sister, Brenda Nave. Survivors include her loving husband of 48 years, Harold Wayne McCroskey; stepdaughter, Tammy Swicegood and husband, Denis; stepson, Terry McCroskey and wife, Monica; sisters, Nora Carrier, Patsy Smithson, and Betty Stewart and husband, Don; brother, J.W. Hartsock and wife, Darlene; brother-in-law, Bruce Nave; and several nieces and nephews. The funeral service will be held at 7 p.m. on Tuesday, June 30, 2020, at Parkway Baptist Worship Center, 1253 Volunteer Pkwy, Bristol, Tenn., with Pastor Gary Montgomery, Bro. Matthew Stewart and Jerry Feathers officiating. The family will receive friends from 5 until 6:45 p.m. prior to the service. Interment will be held at 2 p.m. on Wednesday, July 1, 2020, at Glenwood Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Chris Chambers, Terry McCroskey, Dillon McCroskey, Heath McCroskey, Donnie Shaw and Chad Hartsock. Honorary pallbearers will be Wayne O'Neal, Charles Whiteaker, J.W. Georgia McCracken-Morgan MEADOWVIEW, Va. Georgia McCracken-Morgan, 54, from Meadowview, Va., ended her battle with breast cancer on Wednesday, June 24, 2020, surrounded by her family. She will be forever missed by those who loved her. Georgia was a storyteller and could captivate your imagination. She was preceded in death by her father, Thomas Clifton McCracken Sr. and her mother, Viola Mae McCracken. She is survived by her sons, Calvin William Mumpower and Ricky Dwayne Mumpower Jr. of Glade Spring, Va.; siblings, Debra Campbell and husband, David Campbell, of Meadowview, Va., Virginia Gross and husband, Rick Gross, of Bristol Tenn., and Thomas Clifton McCracken Jr. of Bristol, Tenn.; niece and nephews, Kristina Clark and husband, Jake Clark, of Abingdon, Va., David Campbell Jr. and wife, Jamie Campbell, of Ohio, Charlie McCracken and wife, Bridget McCracken, of Meadowview, Steven Michael McCracken of Abingdon Va., and Robbie McCracken of Abingdon, Va. She is also loved by several aunts and uncles and was a loving grandmother to many. Memorial services will be held at 1 p.m. on Tuesday, June 30, 2020, from the Bradley's Funeral Chapel in Chilhowie. Jeanette Elizabeth Taylor, age 80, of Bristol, Va., passed away on Saturday, June 27, 2020, at her residence. She was born on May 17, 1940, in Washington County, Va., a daughter of the late Teddy and Blanche Wright Taylor. Jeanette was a lifelong resident of the Bristol area and retired from Virginia Social Services. She attended Shiloh Freewill Baptist Church. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a sister, Arlene Nunley. Survivors include her daughter, Iva L. Price and husband, Dennis; sisters, Phyllis McCracken and Bea Welch; grandson, Lucas Shelly; special granddaughter, Sarah Adams and husband, John, and sons, Lane, Logan, Tristion and Brady, whom she loved; special grandson, Quentin Price and Karen; nine grandchildren in South Carolina; and several nieces and nephews. The funeral service will be held at 7 p.m. on Monday, June 29, 2020, in the Weaver Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Greg Dingus, Bro. Roger Ball and Bro. Jack Sprinkle officiating. The family will receive friends from 5 until 6:45 p.m. prior to the service. Interment will be held 11 a.m. on Tuesday, June 30, 2020, at Eastern Heights Cemetery.
