Ivan "Ray" O'Dell Ivan "Ray" O'Dell, 63, passed away on Friday, June 19, 2020, at Johnson City Medical Center. He was preceded in death by his father, Raymond O'Dell; his grandparents, Earl and Flora O'Dell and Charles and Maude Ogle. He is survived by his mother, Juanita Ogle O'Dell; his sister, Joy O'Dell Yates; brother-in-law, Dale Yates. He is also survived by special friends, Johnny Rowe, Jay Bundy, Tamee Tweed, Hunter Waddell; his special little girl, Miyah; and General Ron Hite. Ray was a machinist who was employed at Valley Equipment in Jonesborough, Tennessee, for 45 years. He was a talented machinist who could make almost anything out of a piece of metal. Ray graduated from Davy Crockett High School and attended Science Hill Vocational School. Ray was also an Eagle Scout in the Boy Scouts of America organization. He loved the outdoors and especially loved going to the family farm in Virginia. Ray's great sense of humor, his ability to be a trusted friend to help those around him, his work ethic, and his great big heart made him the person who will be missed by family, friends and co-workers. LEESBURG, Va. / MARION, Va. Ronald Lee McGhee, age 71, passed away on Friday, June 26, 2020, at his home. Ron graduated in 1967 from Marion Senior High School, received an Associates Degree from Southwest Virginia Business College, and then went to work for the Virginia State police, and then as manager for the Virginia ABC stores. Ron always loved his family, but became much closer to his brothers and family in his later years. Ron will be missed by all who knew and loved him. He was preceded in death by his parents, Neal and Tressa McGhee. Ron is survived by his fianc�e, Gloria Smith of Leesburg, Va.; brothers, David McGhee and wife, Theresa, and Steve McGhee, all of Atkins, Va.; nephews, David McGhee II and wife, Lori, Patrick McGhee and wife, Laken; niece, Breanna McGhee and special friend, Nick; great-niece, Madison Justice, and one on the way. Funeral services will be held on Monday, June 29, 2020, at 7 p.m. at Seaver-Brown Chapel. Graveside services will be held on Tuesday, June 30, 2020, at 11 a.m. at Wassum Cemetery. Thomas Mark Huggins, 66, of Bristol, Va., passed away on Friday, June 26, 2020. He was born in Marietta, Ga. on May 4, 1954, son of the late James Robert and Earlene Thomas Huggins. Mark was a member and deacon of North Bristol Baptist Church and formerly a member of East Bristol Baptist Church. He was a graduate of Radford College, Radford, Va. He was employed by Hobart Sales & Service for 18 years, and retired from St. Anne Catholic Church. He enjoyed gardening and spending time with his family. Mark is survived by his beloved wife of 37 years, Elizabeth Huggins; one daughter, Rachel Shuttle and husband, Chris; three sons, David Huggins, Walker Huggins and wife, Rebecca and Jordan Huggins; eight grandchildren, Althea, Phoebe, Damian, Nate, Waylon, Luke, James and Philip; one great- grandson, Brantley; three brothers, Larry Huggins, Ed Huggins and wife, Chris and Andy Huggins and wife, Tove; and several nieces and nephews.
