BRISTOL, Va. — Kiwanis International will hold the first meeting for its new Bristol chapter Tuesday night.

The organizational meeting will be held at 6 p.m. at the Bristol Public Library and is open to anyone over age 21 to attend and be founding members.

Kiwanis International focuses on helping kids and has clubs in 80 countries and geographic areas. Its members pursue creative ways to serve the needs of children, such as fighting hunger, improving literacy and offering guidance.
