ABINGDON, Va.β€”The Abingdon Police Department is searching for a missing Abingdon High School student.

While at school, Angelina Roberts made a phone call on a borrowed phone and subsequently deleted the number, according to a news release. A short time after she placed this call, Angelina was seen getting into a small blue sedan outside the school. The make and model of this vehicle is unknown at this time.

Police said the girl has known ties to the Blountville and Mountain City areas of Tennessee. She is described as a white female, brown hair, blue eyes, weighs 120 lbs. and is 5’5” tall.

The release urges parents to talk to their AHS children for any information they may have about the girl's whereabouts.
