Rebecca Holmes has been named the executive director for Highlands Community Services, effective June 1. She succeeds Jeff Fox, who held the position for 13 years, upon his retirement.

Holmes has 20 years of experience providing both inpatient and outpatient services, as well as home-based services to individuals and families who are struggling with the impact of addiction, trauma and mental health challenges.

Licensed as a professional counselor in Virginia, Rebecca has a long tenure with Highlands Community Service, having most recently served as their Clinical Director since 2013. She is also certified as a substance abuse counselor in Virginia.
