WASHINGTON COUNTY, VA NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARINGS The Washington County Virginia Department of Zoning Administration has received the following applications, which require a public hearing before the Washington County Planning Commission. The Public Hearing will be held on Monday, June 24, 2019, at 7:00 p.m. or as soon thereafter as may be heard. The Washington County Board of Supervisors will then conduct a Public Hearing on Tuesday, July 9, 2019 at 6:30 p.m. Mark Edward Thomas, Property Tax Map # 167A-2-1: request for a Special Exception Permit to construct and operate a mini self-storage warehouse on property located at 22765 Denton Valley Road, Abingdon, Virginia, at the intersection of State Route 664 (Aven Lane) and State Route 670 (Denton Valley Road) in a B-2 (Business, General) zone, Madison Magisterial District. The public hearings will be held in the Board of Supervisors Auditorium at the County Administration Offices located at 1 Government Center Place; Abingdon, Virginia.
