Myrtle Aleese Trivett KONNAROCK, Va. Myrtle Aleese Trivett, 86, a longtime resident of Konnarock, Va., passed away Saturday, July 6, 2013, at Johnston Memorial Hospital in Abingdon, Va. She was born July 3, 1927, to the late Charles and Ressie Blevins. Mrs. Trivett was the owner of Trivetts Home for Adults for over 40 years. Also, she and her late husband owned Trivetts Septic Service for 30 years. She was a very strong and classy lady that worked hard throughout her life. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her husband, Charles Milton Trivett; and two brothers, J.R. Blevins and Hurley Blevins. She is survived by two sons, Charles Craig Trivett and Missy of Abingdon, Va., and Lawrence Paul Church Jr. and Rena of Manassas, Va.; two grandsons, Dakota Dean Shumate of Konnarock, Va. and Lawrence "Larry" Paul Church III of Manassas, Va.; one great-grandson, Aaron Finley Church of Manassas, Va.; four brothers, Eddie Blevins and Anne and Scott Blevins and Jeannie, all of Green Cove, Va., Aven Blevins and Vivian of Annandale, Va., and Carroll Blevins of Abingdon, Va.; two sisters, Relma McMinn of Hendersonville, N.C., and Clara Jean Necessary Barker and Fred of Green Cove, Va.; and several nieces and nephews. The family would like to express thanks to all the staff at Johnston Memorial Hospital. A very special thanks to Missy for the care and love she gave mother for the past 13 years. Also, special thanks to Tony Neeley who has been in the home for 40 years and was very special to Aleese. The family will receive friends from 11 a.m. until 12 p.m. Tuesday, July 9, 2013 at Azen Baptist Church in Konnarock, Va. The funeral service will follow at 12 p.m. at the church with the Rev. Johnny Osborne officiating. The committal service and interment will follow the funeral service at Azen Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Charlie Stanberry, Harley Stanberry, David Trivett, Keith Trivett, Harold Wilcox, and Stevie Necessary.
