Floyd Eugene "Tootie" Taylor Jr. SAINT PAUL, Va. Floyd Eugene "Tootie" Taylor Jr., 65, died Thursday, November 28, 2013, at Johnston Memorial Hospital, in Abingdon, Va. He was born in Dante, Va., son of the late Floyd and Oleene Fields Taylor Sr. He was also preceded in death by two sisters, Georgebell Taylor and Sharon Johnson. He retired from Clinchfield Coal Company and was a member of the U.M.W.A. He was a member of Morning Star Church and attended House of Lord Church in Castlewood, Va. He is survived by his wife, Freida Taylor; three daughters, Kim Bryan and husband, Jamie, of Saint Paul, Va., Angie Boyd and husband, Mike, of Vansant, Va., and Amie Kiser and husband, Roger, of Lebanon, Va.; two sons, Floyd "Nocker" Taylor and girlfriend, Teresa Woods, of Saint Paul, Va., and Ricky Taylor and wife, Joanna, of Tennessee; one sister, Brenda Casteel and husband, Ronnie, of North Carolina; special friends, David Fields, Verlin Hale and Earl Taylor; seven grandchildren, Jessica Taylor, Bryan Taylor and fiancee, Santana Osborne, Tanner Boyd, Chance Mortenson, Dillon Dye, Charlie Boyd and Jamie Ennis; one great-grandchild, Jaiden Taylor; a special niece, Amanda Cox; and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services for Floyd Eugene Taylor Jr. will be conducted 7 p.m. Sunday, December 1, 2013, in Castlewood Funeral Home Chapel, Castlewood, Va., with the Rev. Woody Scott and the Rev. Ted Phillips officiating. Committal services will be conducted 11 a.m. Monday, December 2, 2013, at Temple Hill Memorial Park, Castlewood, Va. Family and friends will meet at the funeral home and go in procession to the cemetery leaving at 10:30 a.m. Pallbearers will be Bryan Taylor, Tanner Boyd, Chance Mortenson, Dillon Dye, Pete Bradley, Aaron Kennedy and Charlie Boyd. The family will receive friends from 5 until 7 p.m. Sunday, December 1, 2013, at Castlewood Funeral Home, Castlewood, Va.
