GREENEVILLE, Tenn. — A caregiver at a Greeneville, Tenn. home has been arrested and charged by the Tennessee Bureau of Investigations for physically assaulting a man in his care.

Seth Soltau, 23, of Greeneville, Tenn., is charged with one count of aggravated assault and abuse, neglect or exploitation of an impaired adult, according to the TBI report.

The assault took place last September at Sunrise Community Services, the agency said, with Soltau slapping a 26-year-old patient on the back and in the face several times in a two-day period.

The investigation further revealed that the suspect put his forearm on the victim's throat and choked the patient until his air was restricted, the report said.

Soltau is currently being held under a $30,000 bond in the Greene County Correctional Facility.
