LEBANON, Va. -- The need for space to expand under one roof led metals manufacturer Steel Fab to a new home in Russell County, company officials announced Tuesday.

Steel Fab currently operates in Abingdon, Va., in two separate plants, and will start to move into the old Lear building in the Cumberland Plateau Regional Industrial Park in the next few months, said Bill Kahl, the company's general manager. He said the 240 employees who currently work at the plants in Abingdon have been offered the chance to move. Another 50 jobs are expected to be added, he said.
