The replacement of two trestles along a popular section of the Virginia Creeper Trail might mean some bikers and pedestrians should plan ahead for potential wait times or trail closures.
Trestles No. 35 and 36, which are close together below Creek Junction, will both be replaced, said Beth Merz, area forester in the George Washington and Jefferson National Forest system.
